Individual and Group Counselling
Watari's Community Addictions Counselling Team is for children, youth, adults and families primarily in the Downtown Eastside/Strathcona area who are struggling with their own alcohol and drug use or who are affected by someone else's alcohol and drug use.
Counselling services focus primarily on alcohol and drug related issues.
Prevention Activities
Special programs focus on the prevention of substance misuse. These can include Cultural Enrichment (First Nations, Latin American), Community Forums and the STAR Project.
