Strengthening Families Through the Generations

The Shannon's Spirit Project is a research project based on strengthening Aboriginal youth and their families with hopes to protect youth from high risk situations. It includes skills based education around “staying connected with your teen” and HIV prevention.

Shannon's Spirit Project is a community-research collaboration whose purpose is to support Aboriginal families in helping to prevent high risk situations and other difficulties that adolescents may face.

Our project staff respect and honor the uniqueness of families in the Aboriginal community.
